Episode 4 in my saga of Painting DOOM, the Cacodemon. Flying monsters that shoot out psychic energy out through their mouths. On their own they are easy to dodge and kill but in groups or with other enemies in front of them, things can get messy… especially when they bite.
Here’s the next episode in my saga of Painting DOOM, Pinky! Pinky is a nickname given to demonic animals that have emerged from the depths of hell. It sounds cute but they are far from it.
Here’s the next episode in my saga of Painting DOOM, the Possessed Marines. These were humans that were changed by the powers they let loose while mining on Mars. They are nasty little buggers who were fused with their armour and weapons. Kind of melting into a single unit.
I’m busy painting the models from DOOM the Board game and I thought “why not write up how I’m going through the process”. Now; I’ve already painted the Imps and I’ve started with the Marines so I don’t remember exactly which colours were used. I’ll do my best to describe the colours that I have used in these guides. For the future guides (the rest of the models) I’ll make notes so that you can have a better idea of what I’ve done.
So I missed a pair of posts this month. The 1st I had actually prepped but I was busy painting up these models and I forgot to post it!. The 2nd I was going to miss anyway as it was on Holy Thursday. Happy Easter everyone! So anyway, a little over 2 weeks ago I received a box of Runewars the Miniatures Game to paint up for a store demo copy. I was supposed to have 3 weeks to do it but due to some shipping issues I ended up with just shy of 2 weeks. On top of that I already had plans that I could not break, and I fell ill, so essentially I had under 7 days…
