This is my new study, the kids called the previous one a man cave which I felt sheepish about because it was rather tiny. I think this one will be more fitting. It’s still a work in progress but lets see what’s going on….

Review: Lumi Task Lamp
I’ve changed countries and I did not bring a lot of stuff with me. When I say that, I mean that I did not pack a lot of things for shipping because I left in a hurry. So I’ve got no stuff on my desk :P. One of the most important things, when it comes to painting and working late at night, is lighting.
And I’m back, from outer space….
… well, more like the Shire. I’ve moved to New Zealand! It’s been ages since I’ve posted anything but here is an update date about where I am right now, in all senses of the word.
Hello from New Zealand!
My 2017 10 x 10 challenge – March update
Earlier in the year I decided to take up a 10 x 10 challenge. That’s to play 10 selected games 10 times each, before the year is out. Last year I was done by mid-February, this year I’m taking it slow and savouring the games. I think it’s time I took stock of where I am on the challenge.
Gaming can be more than just a hobby.
I don’t often boast about my kids. Well I try not to, those that hear me boasting might say otherwise 😉 This week my son received an award for the Best Junior Chess player in his school. I’m exceptionally proud. Samara plays too and she is certainly better than he is, from what I gather she is the best of the seniors but that award is usually given to the Grade 7’s not the 6’s so she should get one year. The thing that I’m really excited about is not the achievement itself but the fact that Ronin did it even though he has ADD.
